MB Holding has inaugurated its 17 MW Velika Ciglena geothermal power plant and Croatia's first geothermal power plant. Mannvit worked on the steam field engineering and re-injection system engineering for this Turboden ORC plant. Mannvit's team in Hungary played a vital role in the engineering. As reported by ThinkGeoEnergy the plant was officially inaugurated by the "Minister of Environmental Protection and Energy Tomislav Coric and Muharrem Balat, CEO of Turkey’s MB Holding. The geothermal power plant in Ciglena near Bjelovar is an investment of HRK 325 million (app. EUR 43.7 million) and it is also the largest power plant in continental Europe with binary technology."
